Believe the Hype? I watched this expecting to be disapointed, the film had been hyped to hell. However I was pleasantly surprised as it captured the essence of comradeship in a war zone very well. Its no "BlackHawk Down" but its a well written, well acted film and worth watching. nottmdon7:17pm Wed 2 May
Oscar winner? Haha. Those old f*rts at the Academy proved they've lost the plot. Again. There is no way this is the best movie of 2009.
It's not bad at all but it's certainly overated by the, so called, film critics.

Watchable Movie Guy Pearce doesnt last long but this gritty film is well worth watching it must have had some good researchers because it captures the essence of how 'Brothers in Arms' act when they unwind. Definately worth more than a measley 6.7 nottmdon5:49pm Tue 7 Feb
