Brilliant Fantastic - best TV for as long as I can remember - what a start to the year, unfortunately it can only go downhill from here. Jardov9:59am Mon 16 Jan
Amazing show I love it-the modern turn on it is brill, the cast is amazing and Sherlock using iphone-cocky! Cleopater4:37am Mon 16 Jan
A big Holmes fan Great take on the holmes stories. And I've seen a lot from Basil Rathbone through Jeremy brett, even Cook and Moore. For me the BBC Sherlock is right up there. An interesting modernisation that manages to give a fresh gloss to some excellent stories. Stands well out amongst the terrible scripts that seem to be plaguing the BBC at the moment. If you haven't seen it, why not? Syrilian11:53pm Sun 15 Jan
The best thing that has been on TV for years. Utterly fantastic. mikeroonie10:21am Sun 15 Jan
re: Holmes, baby if you are going to make fun of someone, please make sure you cannot be poked at with the same stick - Dyslectic? surely you meant dyslexic! I think that maybe you are the stupid one..........., and as far as genuine spelling mistakes go, they are not a hanging offence. However, showing your ignorance by making fun of those with a disability should be. niki-naki-noo10:12pm Mon 9 Jan

At last ! So good to watch. Very very clever too. Stan.10:01am Sun 8 Jan
Outstanding! The first episode of this new series was epic! How they managed to improve upon the first series I don't know! It was incredible! Can't wait until this Sunday. BTW JubJamie this won't be the last series... they are just building up to 'the fall' to make it that much more exciting! Can't blame them but I wouldn't get too worried. sherlocked5:14pm Wed 4 Jan

Sherlock Missed Sherlock the first time round but glad I have now seen the first series so far. I have really enjoyed it and consider it to be the best detective/thriller I have seen for a long time I can't wait to see the next series. raven11:27pm Tue 2 Aug

Sherlock I NEED THE NEXT EPISODE!!!!
It is so frustrating waiting and waiting. HURRY UP!!!! aaaahhhhhh!!!!!!!9:43am Sun 13 Mar
Best TV of 2010 Who would've thought such a classic story would be so successful in the modern era? It was a risk, but the writers succeeded in making an internet and GPS-savvy Sherlock Holmes highly watchable and wholly believable. TVGuide11:25am Wed 1 Dec
Pretty poor overall I found each episode most 'unentertaining' but stuck with them in the hope that they would improve.
The Doctor Who link confirmed my view since I have found the latest DW series to also be poor.
The actors gabble their lines and even with the benefit of DVR I sometimes find difficulty in understanding what they are saying.
In summation: 5 out of 10 and that's being generous. Rotten Apple5:25pm Sun 28 Nov
Another irate dyslexic They haven't written it out by hand, they've used a computer so everything is spell checked. So yes, stupid. Holmes, baby6:17pm Thu 9 Sep
So when is the next episode? You have had loads of requests for more episodes. We are waiting................. Impatient Sherlock fan.9:07pm Fri 27 Aug
Re: Holmes, baby's comments Its people like you that make my blood boil. There are thousands of people out there who have been certified as being dyslexic and yet people like you put them down when they're just trying to get on with their lives. You wouldn't call someone wheelchair bound 'cripple' (or maybe you would?), so what really is the difference in calling someone dyslexic 'stupid'? If you actually read the comment and ignored the spelling mistakes you'd see its clearly written by someone who is clearly not stupid. Get over yourself and grow up. Name calling is for the playground. Shame on you and your ignorance. Another irate dyslexic12:52pm Sun 22 Aug
LOVE XXX Where is my Sherlock fix? I think its brill!! its not very often you find an English drama series which is action packed and where the background music is equally as exciting as the plot and the actors....can we have more please??? Mandy12:34pm Sun 22 Aug
Sherlock All episodes of anything have mistakes but this is still bloody good TV, if you want to watch something 100% accurate go watch it and stop moaning on here. Mistakes Episode 3: Connie Prince was on the tv as died at 48, but in the morgue, she was stated to be 54.
Episode 3: Walking out of the gallery, Sherlock pushes the door open, but the following shot shows the door closing from the inside. Swadey8:53pm Thu 12 Aug
Sherlock Sherlock is great in this series and Watson should have died in the end that would have been a cool ending of the series. Yellowfred24:26pm Thu 12 Aug
nooo i LOVE this show, why are there only 3 episodes? now i have nothing to look forward to. seriously they need to make more, like 1745563 episodes or something. i NEED more Holmes!!! im upset that it's over11:31pm Tue 10 Aug

Need More! Why is there only three episodes? This is a brilliant show and I LOVED it. There need to be more episodes!!!! Clauds7:52pm Wed 4 Aug
:( Ugh. Yuck, yuck, yuck. I like Cumberpatch, Freeman, and Gatiss a lot so I was excited for this, but I barely made it through the first ep, and could only stand 15 minutes of the second. Week 1 relied on super-genius Sherlock laying out a BLATANT clue for the audience which he conveniently didn't get himself. The 'quirky' stuff like the maps and the writing appearing on screen felt horribly patronising, as did the shoehorning in of gay issues - yet another bbc show where sexuality is used in a "nudge-nudge-wink-wink, aren't we inclusive" kind of way.
So, so disappointed. raar2:19pm Tue 3 Aug
plot holes the first episode was fantastic.but the second had more plot holes than cappellos preparation for the world cup.for example why would the chinaman shoot dead the banker when he could have been tortured toget the wherabouts of the hat pin the codes were just nonesense & timewasting more thought needs to be put into scriptwriting for 2nd series otherwise youve got sub standard jonathon creek fancy trickster6:08pm Mon 2 Aug
Episode 2 Episode 2: Not as good as last week but still great fun. The cast was wonderful again. steve12:23am Mon 2 Aug
Another Sherlock Holmes Deja vu. Yawn JJ10:12pm Sun 1 Aug
nice planning its on the same time as top gear.. =/ bah8:54pm Sun 1 Aug
Great show Of course its a bit Dr Who-ish...its written by the genius that is Stephen Moffatt ! Sherlock is fab! Proud Pagan8:21pm Sun 1 Aug
WOW! Loved it! Yes it did have a 'Doctor Who' feel about it, but then I love Doctor Who so this just adds to the watchability of the show. From start to finish I was hooked and can't wait for the rest of the series. A definite 'must see' for my family Jax8:16pm Sun 1 Aug
Bloody Entertainer What a tremendous show it was. From the beginning, the way they brought together Dr. Watson and Sherlock was really something. Storyline was brilliant with glimpses of utter marvel time to time. Also, some techy stuff incorporated in the form of tracker and text messaging fitted in perfectly.
Cumberbatch, you beauty. He always triggered eagerness and intrigue everytime he spoke. gomeravi8:02pm Sun 1 Aug
$$$$$ $$$$$ $$$$$ $$$$$ $$$$$ I see the predictable Sky shareholders are here badmouthing the BBC.
Go'way!! We Know Your Game6:49pm Sun 1 Aug
amazing!! :P After seeing the first in the episode of this, i can tell it will be a winner! Both main actors are BRILL, with a equally excellent plot. This modern version of Sherlock Holmes actually works! Lidz :)6:36pm Sun 1 Aug
'dyslectic' is the new way of saying stupid. Holmes, baby4:55pm Sun 1 Aug
Deccent BBC seem to have done well on last week's episode. Back to form, but, as hinted at, it's a bit Dr Who-like. s****horpe1:17pm Sun 1 Aug
