Reason why it's off air It's been off air on CH4 because it follows FOX (the US broadcast station. For the past 4-5weeks FOX has slotted various sports games and major events shows over the usual New Girls slot which was taken off air to make way for these shows. Now CH4 has to wait 4-5 weeks accorindgly before they run the rest of the series so it is in tune with FOX- this is because new episodes of New Girl cannot be aired in the UK before being aired in the US.
