still duped... any of you still following this vile man watch the show closely... why would you handle new born cubs and move them and the mother soon after birth knowing full well the mother would reject them? He is not a conservationist, he breeds animals in captivity and separates the young from their mothers early so that he can raise them with fear. He doesn't stay up all night feeding them though, he dumps that on staff. Watch closely. Vile man. p.s the lions are lame due to being declawed (having a bit of the toe removed along with the claw). duped.. Don't fall for it, I used to love this show until I researched it. This is a man convicted more than once for violence, he beat his former partner Karen after finding her in bed with a couple, however they had already broken up for months when this happened and doesn't excuse him anyway. He couldn't get a licence in his name due to his convictions so he conned the original owner of the park which he claims he founded, once she signed the licence and control to him in good faith he stole the park from her - the show is a lie. He declawed the animals and there is video footage of him beating a cub. He had to make his mother director due to a difficult time in his life - he was being convicted for violence etc... lion man I am sad to hear about all the drama that has gone on, however in England we have only managed to see the first series of Lion Man, it is a wonderful series to experience big cats etc and hope that Sky will show the follow up series!

Disappointing!!!! This week I watched your Television Programme ‘Lion Man’ for the very first time. I was shocked!
How are we meant to save such beautiful animals that are on the verge of extinction by raising them in such artificial and damaging habitats? The programme I watched showed a white tiger giving birth. I was utterly ashamed to see Craig start prodding and picking up the cubs as soon as they were born. How does he expect the tigers and lions to form a safe and protective bond with their cubs if they are taken from their mother and man-handled as soon as they are born? Then he appeared surprised that their mother had rejected the cubs. Craig’s behaviour is disgraceful.
Craig then took great pride in saying that the cubs are raised like ‘human babies’, need I say any more! In order to preserve both the lion and tiger species they should be raised naturally with their mother and introduced to the wild where they can be observed for a distance and learn crucial behaviours such as hunting.
Raising the lions as ‘human babies’ is simply introducing the animals to a negative rearing pattern and is essentially breeding a species of cat that is completely dependant on humans and could never be able to love for itself. These animals are not helping to save their species.
Also on the programme I watched Craig introducing baby Tigers to Lions. This is also another disastrous behaviour. In the wild these two cats would never make contact and this rule should remain unbroken!
If the Cats raised in your sanctuary were raised correctly in the wild and then released they would make a marvellous difference to preventing extinction. However your current behaviours are not only damaging cat species but your behaviour is a disgrace to the whole cat kingdom!!

@ The Master Craig Busch had 90% of the Lions/tigers de-clawed , an inhumane barbaric practice and only breed show cats which had Nothing to do with conservation of big cats , he also inhumanly killed tiger/lion cubs by putting them in a bag and bashing them with bricks / a hammer . Truth revealed He I am sure true to life will be with lions, and only with lions even though the park is a problem of his mothers and other makings. I am sure he is true to himself as a lionman and will always be faithfully to the cause of what is best for lions, he has no other desire except this. Bring the Lion Man Back I never get tired of watching the lion man. I can watch it again and again, the bond he has with the lions and tigers are special. It must have broke his heart that they killed Abu, why can't they use a tranquiliser, had Craig been there this would not have happened. He cares for his cats thats why he is in debt, his awful mother is only interested in making money and run it as a business and don't care about the cats welfare. As for his partner sure he lost it but what would any decemt man do when you find your partner in bed with a couple. He is only human. Missing You How upset the Cats will be with Craig vanishing from their lives, this is CRUEL. The beloved animals cannot know why he isn't there. Think before you comment Some of these comments are just stupid. I agree with the person who reminded everyone that the Lions are animals not humans. Also who ever said that the park was not conservational and just plain selfish is kidding themselves!! Taking those poor lions out of the wild, feeding them, giving them somewhere to sleep, mates to play with,caring for them, yes i see, very selfish. What is the difference to them being in the wild to in a place where they are cared for? They have boundries, like they do naturally in the wild, they are free from starvation and disease, from being eatin alive by flies, how can you say that this is not cool? A man that loves what he does, is good at what he does and helps people see that these wonderful creatures should be protected and preserved so that future generations of lions can live in harmony with humans, not hunted for their furs or their meat!
Do you own a cat? Do you own a dog? Maybe a rat, bird, fish hamster?? These are wild animals are they not? They have been brought into how many thousands of millions peoples homes, taken from the wild and tamed to be our pets! How can you tame these beautiful, powerful creatures?
