I agree.... ..it makes you so angry, especially when you see cases like that of the young man on My Worst Deal which was aired this morning. He came out of the army and had his house repossessed by Northern Rock who sold it for a fraction of the price at auction, then chased him for the shortfall, driving him to a suicide attempt. People on this programme are just the worst kind of graspers. grumpyoldwoman11:51am Tue 3 Apr
"another one for my portfolio" This show will make your blood boil unless you are a property "developer". What really grates is the endless supply of buyers who are adding to their "portfolios" of properties and have buckets of cash. Most of us wanna buy ONE house to live in ! NOT a property developer8:50pm Mon 26 Mar
hands Put your hands by your sides or in your pockets, admit your bald, dress your age, and stop the estate agents wandering round the revamped home like they've discovered Tutankamuns tomb. stevethecynic9:32pm Mon 20 Feb
Lucy Great programme, and the music which reflects that particular house etc is extremely good, we always have a little smile when it comes on, keep it up, but please Lucy are you looking for an oscar, please stop getting carried away you are soooo effected its a house programme. take a break and just present without the attitude. denise10:24am Tue 14 Feb
its only worth what it sells for at the end of the day I watch this program with intrest
Ive been in the property game a very long time and would like to see one thing thats missing
they never say what the houses sell for they do give a valuation from estate agents
but thats not the same as the selling price gained dislexic landlord10:09am Tue 7 Feb
Conundrum Are they very small houses, or is there a very big hammer? InnitChav2:06pm Fri 20 Jan

Cutting edge TV Can there be anything more exciting than watching TV programmes about selling houses? I experience spontaneous orgasm every time I watch it. How about a series in which somebody paints a wall and the cameras film the paint drying?

hammering homes great romance in this show if you look closely. Very sweet. Skint Rick11:58pm Thu 4 Aug
Love it I love this programme, especially the way the music is chosen to reflect what is happening in the show. Phrases that should be banned on house programmes- ticks all the boxes, good size, tall ceilings, wow factor. home alone11:32am Wed 22 Jun

Incidental music - Noise Best day time programme, ruined by unecessary noisy music. No background music required at all.!!!! Marie - Andover, Hants11:06am Tue 1 Feb
Root of all Evil Yes, it's programs like this that encourage property speculation that have fuelled the British obsession with property ownership for the purposes of pure profit. A home is a home and should only be thought of as such. I made this mistake myself when I gave council tenants the right to buy and destroyed the social housing stock of Britain. If you must speculate then get on the bus to the Stock Exchange, THAT's the Tory way! Maggie T.7:50am Mon 17 Jan
Current Market prices This programme is ok but it's repetitive! A 3 bed house for 75k is very 1995 for the south of UK isn't it?? Realist 10:49am Tue 4 Jan
Pronunciation Fed up listening to the mispronounciation of the word 'subside' or 'subsidence' by the presenters on this show. The 'i' should be pronouced as 'eye' when involving the collapse of a building. Pronounced as 'i' phonetically makes the word money related. sue2:37pm Fri 10 Dec
Great English Telly lovely family show. I watch it with my wife and our dog Pixie. Afterwards we have tea and cake. Harry, Joan and Pixie.12:15am Mon 29 Nov
14 series of this, really? now on its 14 series, typical cheap to make BBC daytime rubbish
This type of show is cheap as chips to produce and it fills the daytime schedule nicely for the BBC
in my opinion it is a serious waste of license payers money Almost Rock Bottom8:21am Wed 24 Nov
Thumbs up from me! I like this prog.
Lucy is a breath of fresh air on a cold morning, and Martin knows his stuff too.
I would love to have a go at the auctions and buy a property. Lucy's No.1 Fan7:50pm Wed 27 Oct
Timely The repeats are sometimes of shows filmed a few years back, when prices where different times2:56pm Thu 7 Oct
Useless This programme is so out of date it is highly misrepresentative and actually misleading. Surely the BBC have a responsibility to present a sector that is so volatile in a accurate way so as not to confuse potential buyers/sellers or even casual observers. A. Noyed11:28am Fri 30 Jul
great tv i think this program is great .martin and lucy are the best.love you tracey7:20pm Sat 3 Jul
houses, houses, houses why is everyone in the UK so obsessed with houses? I´m sick of hearing the phrases "wonderful space" - it´s a ROOM for goodness sake - and the inevitable "it ticks all the boxes. Get a life. grumpyoldwoman10:55pm Fri 25 Jun
desirable property I love this programme, Lucy Alexander is absolutely stunning, its so interesting to see other homes and what people do with them. Put it on in the evenings and relegate Eastenders to mornings. Lucy, I love you xxx Mr Maisonette10:12am Wed 23 Jun
love it! The best show around!
Why can't the BBC put this on in the evening? I'm sure it would be very popular and a good rival to other prog's of a similar genre e.g. relocation, property ladder etc!
Love how the music always reflects the circumstances of the property being auctioned!
The presenters are brill too! so funny!
I series link this with my sky+ so i never miss an episode!! lol sam d10:44am Tue 30 Mar
Uncomfortable Fact Your highbrow opinions are immaterial. You sat down like a cabbage and watched it anyway – the programmers/advertisers achieved their aim. Quality of Life Fan7:21pm Mon 15 Feb
