Marmite I thought, from the first episode, that this would be a bit of a love-it-or-hate-it programme (though some of the ott negative comments seem to say more about the commenters, than about the programme). What a cliffhanger! The way episode 6 ended suggests that there will be a second series - and I certainly hope so. This series was like an introduction to the main characters. Why don't we give TV shows time any more? I watched Eternal Law with an open mind, and whilst it isn't Citizen Cane it is a quirky and unusual concept. We should be encouraging these sort of shows because whether you like it (and I do, actually)or not, surely it has to be better than tacky gameshows and semi-reality rubbish. Optomist4:45pm Fri 3 Feb

Enjoyable Angels are sent to Earth to try and improve people's lives. A fallen angel (i.e. a baddie) is their nemesis. I really enjoyed this piece of fantasy TV. It's great to see channels commissioning something original and new and all the boring half-reality shows on these days, and ITV do it well. The leads are well-cast, the story arc looks promising, and the mini episodic plots are sweet. I recommend this show as something fresh and truly enjoyable if, like me, you are looking for a show with some sort of plot that doesn't involve cursing, murder and over-the-top melodrama. Silly Gimmick How silly can TV get? Stripped of the daft gimmick that the main characters are angels, this just a very poor legal drama. I gave up at 9.47pm; A cup of tea and a visit to the lavvy offered a more attractive prospect Braindead Britain9:48pm Thu 5 Jan
