Excellent! I have never been much of a navy fan, but this is superb, held me right the way through. Excellently linked and beautifully presented. Marvellous for schools/teaching, too. Can't wait for the DVD. Well done, more please. Sara9:42am Thu 5 Jan

it was better back then... Yeah, we ruled the waves fine. And now... we can't even afford to get the carrier patched up properly. Thanks a bunch, Gordon.
Hey, how would our naval history had worked out if Nelson had a Trident sub instead? The Electro Kangaroo3:04am Thu 1 Apr
I like this type of Snow! Ok, so 75% of my license goes on BBC dancing shows but I could care less so long as they keep funding programmes like this. Dan Snow is the perfect guy to present because he is young guy passionate about history but doesn't spoon feed you as if you're an idiot. It's a refreshing change to patronising old farts repeating the same facts over and over again. BenVK8:52pm Fri 5 Feb
Worth every penny of TV licence Fantastic! Copper bottoms still the best!
Please release DVD/book I want to watch and read over and over again.
I've recently completed a circumnavigation in a very small boat - a truly humbling experience! The history in Dan Snow's prog gives extra meaning to my adventure. No TV for two years (no probelem.) Nice to come back to something worth watching!
Thank you.

Great viewing A great programme, interesting and informative...I learnt a lot of things I did not know. Dan Snow is a good presenter and easy to listen too. I hope we see more TV of this quality. more of Clipper5:24pm Sat 16 Jan
