Forced ro turn off I have watched eastenders for almost as long as it has been on. It's been my favourite programme for many many years however recently the story lines ate so depressing that I don't make an effort to follow it. I have watched about 2 episodes in the last month. I switch on tonight and yet more depressing story's again. Please give us some happy story lines. Poor Ben he had never had any love off his dad and things look really bleak for him. Frustrating Storyline Am getting increasingly annoyed with the unrealistic nature of Tanya's cancer story. The story could have easily been an accurate portrayal of the effects cancer has on a family however it seems that they have done no research into the subject at all.
