Gone down hill of late Used to be a big fan, but this past series seems to have been flat, started decent, but seems to chop and change every few seconds, no storyline has been fully finished. Rather frustrating. Ex-DrWhoLover7:40pm Sat 3 Sep
SPOLIER!?!?! For people saying they should bring back more of the old villians, firstly a good part of the new doctor whos have been fille with old enemys but secondly at the end of this season i think ull be suprised at who returns from little clues ive noticed. dont want to ruin it but there is a distigtive logo that appears when ever this religeous army appears. Im a fan since t baker and still enjoy it, you have to understand it has to change, with everything on tv nowadays having it like the very first episodes would never work, its evolving for the better and moffat is doing an excellent job writting it, my hat is off to him. Would you like a jelly baby?4:22pm Sat 3 Sep
Used to be a jids show Originally was an educational show, but was so good it dropped that part and rapidly moved to family entertainment(not a big thing now). Although it should still be(and was) in that area in has recently moved more towards the 'kids show' for some reason. fyi4:06pm Sat 27 Aug
This Particular Episode I have to say that this particular episode was probaly one of the best in the whole season 5, if not the whole SM era so far. Funny, not too complex and light. Not enough of these episodes in the SM era I'm afraid to say. Peanut Head4:40pm Mon 25 Jul

its the best its the best doctor who Series iv ever watched aa4:02pm Sun 26 Jun
Stephen Muppet ave to say as a kids show its quite good. I started watching Dr Who back in the 70s. Tom Baker will always be my Dr Who. I am a log term fan of the show, and have said many things on here. Mostly negative. However I have realised, which I think many have not, this has always been a kids TV show. I was a kid in the 70s, I dare say Pertwee fans hated Tom Baker at the time. Probably still do.
As long as kids are enjoying it, and being attracted into watch science fiction, well that's good. Mastt Smith is actually a very good Dr. As barmy as Troughton at times, sometimes reminiscent of Pertwee or Tom Baker.... and as remote as Hartnell's Dr. My idea now is enjoy life, and stop upsetting others enjoyment. Watch in a kids mind set, and don't take it too seriously. Its just harmless fun for the family. Enjoy:) Have a good day:) Shadowbane11:36am Sun 26 Jun

it's great Ilove the fact that it is so adventurus and sometimes a little bit scary.

Fantastic Much better now that the Doctor is not shown as bisexual. This new series is fast and has a good underlying story line. Topaz4:04am Sun 19 Jun
Splitting the Series? There is nothing wrong with the concept of the series. The thrills are better than ever, and comedy is close to original. Although there is one mistake...
I think it's silly to split the series in two. It's frustrating because I fear that I may forget important things.
I the BBC take this into consideration. Rafael8:35pm Sat 18 Jun
Lol You lot realise that you have unnecessarily high expectations of this show? And you seem to want no originality? All you want are the same enemies over and over. I want to see the Ice Warriors again, personally. And this season has a much better quality compared to some of the early works? Shotguner15910:41pm Tue 14 Jun

Old fan There's no point telling these people to stop complaining. Doctor who has been going for years and has a huge fan base. The season has taken a different direction with Matt smith and many of these fans are dissapointed with the series now, but they remain Doctor Who fans. They are entitled to complain as they have remained loyal to the series for as long as they could. Hopefully the writers and the BBC will take note of these complaints. dan lmr6:47pm Mon 13 Jun
Differing audience... As one of the older fans of said show, I think we have a schism developing here. Moffatt is my age and I'm not sure what he is attempting. It's all very well telling those of us who don't like it to not watch it, but many of us have been with this prog for decades, and have a right to express our disappointment as we see it. I keep trying to give this season another chance, but frequently have turned off. Shame really. Capricaone9:52am Sun 12 Jun
David Tennant Well I for one prefer Matt Smith to David Tennant who was very annoying as Dr Who as he is annoying (and basically the same) in every role he plays. Better when plots are slower and depend more on dialogue and characterisation than flashes, bangs and made up ways to escape from a plot dead ends poubelle6:38am Sat 11 Jun
sad sad moaning barstools i you don't like it don't watch it!!!! More of us enjoy than you pathetic waste of space-ers so stop watching things you don't like just to moan about it!! Get a life! Suck it Fez's are cool6:54pm Fri 10 Jun
Stop moaning! I have been a Dr Who fan for some 30 years now and find it just as entertaining as I did back then, I think that Matt smith makes an excellent Dr and has certainly filled the shoes of David Tennant, I also think that Karen Gillan and Aurther Darvill are an excellent choice for the series! if the format had stayed the same for the last 50 years we would all be moaning it needs to change, so let it evolve! However I do agree that the mid season break was indeed unnecessary! Fan and Lovin' it!!10:58pm Wed 8 Jun
Dr Who....lacklustre now! Gone downhill since Tennant left, and the storylines are getting ridiculous!! Trying to do an time arc like Babylon 5...but full of paradoxical holes! I'll go back to the still far superior B5 now that the Tardis is a super being and the Dr known throughout the universe and throughout time!! Never used to be like this! William Hartnell must be turning in his grave! Baz Ward5:43pm Tue 7 Jun
Darleks being retired Because the Doctor always defeats them. But isn't that every dr who villian? So i guess they'll be retiring them all soon and the dr will land on a planet to get the tardis repainted and we can spend the next 40mins watching it dry. Or is it that the writing has gotten so bad they just can't think of any new script ideas for the old villians and are going to add new ones and hope we don't notice the lack of original storylines? they need new writers!1:49am Mon 6 Jun
poor..... Going downhill fast, I'm afraid. Garbled dialogue, lacklustre writing, below-par acting. Moffat's going to kill Dr Who...... Ex-Who fan6:19pm Sun 5 Jun
Break Bad. Yes i agree the story lines have been a bit scatty but the script/dialogues between characters are far more quirky and interesting than those of russell t davies.Matt Smith is much better as the dr than tennant(troughton,t.baker being the best, ecclestone nearly there).the break is totally unnecessary, not sure how the bbc can justify it really!! rickyroma4:45pm Sun 5 Jun
why is it so dull? because they have run out of story lines, and the rubbish actors can only remember short lines off the idiot boardss bloke downt pub9:09am Sun 5 Jun
disappointing I agree with those who think this series is a let-down. The plots are incredibly convoluted and it seems to me it's trying to be too serious too much of the time. Where is the light-hearded quirky side to the Doctor? And why is he always dragging behind him an increasing number of co-travellers? whothehell8:39pm Sat 4 Jun
predictable and bland worse writing for Dr Who I have seen for years. Was easy to follow the plot, before it happened. The dr as one of the monks at the start, the baby being a duplicate, River song being the daughter etc. I wont even start on the Holes in plot. Kill the Dr off, or get new writers BBC. Begone Steven Muppet you are a mediocre writer to put it kindly. Smith is good as the Dr, but he let down by bad writing. Awful episode, dire. Shadowbane7:49pm Sat 4 Jun
doctor whooo love it! such a great show, miss david tennant but the new doctor is still just as good wazaaaaaaaap7:28pm Sat 4 Jun
