Best Ever Cop Series Was just reading the earlier comments and had to write in myself.
As an ex-cop from Sunderland who worked in the Met during the eighties and nineties (no body armour etc., just common sense and a sick sense of humour!) I can honestly say that watching this is like a breath of the proverbial fresh air, much needed amongst all the other copumentaries on TV.
As one viewer stated earlier, there are the odd one or two officers featured in the series that I just couldn't work with due to their shitty attitude towards the job and the public. They know who they are... and it was disgusting watching them carry on unchallenged by their colleagues. OK, everyone cocks up now and again, especially under pressure, but having been on the receiving end of some mouthy, drunken a***hole who 'pays your wages', I'm not surprised at some officers' reactions!
As in every walk of life, you get a few bad apples, so deal with it!
All in all, a great bit of viewing during which you can be laughing one minute, and shouting at the telly the next!

Confused.com Have I been watching a different programme to everyone else? I haven't seen anything fake or staged - they interview the bad guys too!
And as for, "all she had to do was turn her around and handcuff her" This is hilarious! Can you really see the angry drunk woman coming quietly for a copper half her size??!!

I was also shocked and disgusted to see the woman in the domestic incident being pulled by the WPC onto the ground when all she had to do was turn her around and handcuff her.
