bargain hunt Why do we have to put up with Barby, having a hissy fit on TV is not a good look, if the contestants want to buy something, as it is their show, let them, you can't get it right anyway, you're there to advise, get over it. And Crapulous, your comment below 15th Mar, Anita is great as an auctioneer and adviser, and she's Scottish not Irish. denise9:23pm Wed 4 Apr

wonnacott the ham far too much time is given to TV hog Wonnacott. And it's always the same lines! Leftover lolly, we're in safe hands, what piece will bring the most profit etc etc- and he's always shoving his face in. The formula is clapped out and at the least the contestants should get 500 or 600 pounds. Anything for a change! And tell Tim that "to" is not pronounced "te" and "years" rhymes with "ears" and not"yerrs" And get rid of that slooow talking Irish twit Anita crapulous5:10am Thu 15 Mar
good show Better than the other auction shows because they make a game out of it and prove how difficult it is to make good money at auction for the average persons bric a brac. Wonnacott is great, helps make the show. Best of the auction shows along with Antiques Roadshow. Carlos11:05am Thu 1 Mar
bargain hunt is right as my title says, you have to hunt these days for a new programme, one day new next day repeat, never know if I should tape, pointless taping a repeat, very frustrating fed up2:07pm Tue 7 Feb
a con why do you always do this, one expects a new series, then you sneak an old one in, really frustrsting. fed up12:43pm Tue 24 Jan
Wipe It This was once a reasonable programme that now seems to be on an un-ending spiral downwards. The one line that I find particularly irritating is "don't tell the blue/red team".
WHO CARES!!
We're NOT in good hands! Blue Team9:44am Thu 12 Jan
BARBY why oh why do we have to put up with that old F--t Barby, even took him to Australia, he always wants to buy what he wants not the contestants, its their choice he is so effected, just because he's cheap as he must be retired, use someone with more appeal, bbc you really are loosing it fed up9:54am Tue 10 Jan
See How Much You Can Lose !! Why do you keep buying at Retail price & selling at Auction price?!? It's a no brainer really..so annoying Time to forget it 12:44pm Mon 17 Oct
experts ????? good Lord, it really is a jolly good laugh at watching these so called experts as they are so far out to lunch- I wouldn't take any of there advice- get some real experts on this show or else eliminate them altogether. sandi11:02am Wed 5 Oct

lol only like 10% of the teams make a profit, why is this rubbish still on tv after dickinson Jukesy11:03am Wed 16 Jun
Get real Ditch the 'experts' let the teams have their own choice. The results cannot be any worse and will be more realistic and interesting PeeKay8:29pm Tue 27 Apr
Uncomfortable Fact Like your highbrow opinions, the quality, content and outcome of these staged pantomime shows is immaterial. You sit down like a cabbage and watch them anyway, just like the programmers/advertisers want. Quality of Life Fan9:36am Wed 17 Feb
Why the players lose so offten I watch the show in aussie & if i was at a auction & Tim Wonnacott screamed out
GO ON I would stop bidding cause i would know thay brougth the iterm from a fair.
What thay should do have the "Bargin hunt teams & tv crew in a seperate room with a live tv viewing of the Auction room & then thay can yell as much as thay want too with the other punters knowing bargin hunt is there.
As for thir so called "EXPERTS thay are about as usefull as a pig with a writs watch & it seems like the players are only their for show as the so cvalled experts seem to want to pick everything aussiepete5:26pm Thu 7 Jan
Mislead when are the so called experts going to learn that you don't buy things with cracks and repairs. This is very misleading for the two teams playing.Thought the experts would know better. Love the concept of the game and tim really does a greatjob.Experts lift your game!!!! aussie viewer 201010:08am Thu 7 Jan

how do u get o de show hi im trying to find out how to get on bargain for my rockstarrrr6:32pm Sun 20 Sep
light entertainment just right for an easy morning don10:56am Mon 7 Sep
great programme Tim Wannacott is a smashing presenter. Love watching him every day when on. gilly11:11pm Tue 30 Jun
Camera use I think this programme could be improved further by spending more camera time on the objects and less on peoples faces. It is not necessary to keep going from one to the other every time someone speaks. The "antiques" are the object of the show and are sometimes only shown for a few seconds. myview11:27am Mon 29 Jun
love it I am an Australian View and I recored so I don't miss it, I would love an oportunity to be a contestant on Bargain Hunt. narn3:20am Sat 27 Jun

Tim is the ideal presenter for antiquity show.
Enjoy this because of his sense of humour! Smile, you are on camera11:56am Sun 29 Mar
Moaners You don't have to watch it! sammy6:19pm Mon 9 Mar
Its just fun its a great show. light and funny with no one being horrible to anyone else and all laughing at themselves Buster11:57am Fri 27 Feb
Camera If you want to get rid of someone sack the camera operator. He/she never keeps the camera on the object and seems obsessed with faces whether it is the contestants or Tim "look at me" Wannacott.
It is a good programme spoilt. More camera on the
bric a brac Please. myview1:22pm Thu 12 Feb
FIXED As Tim Wannacott buys up anything of value no wonder the contestants are left with tatt. Notice how he says he's just bought something for around £20 and its worth £200 or more. Only last week a contestant bought a silver sovereign case and Tim said "I can't believe you beat me to it" which goes to show he nicks any bargains first. Very poor and unfair, don't these presenters earn enough without ruining the show for their own greed. pirate4:31pm Mon 9 Feb
Alternatives If you like the programme then watch it.
If you don't like the programme then change channels.
The choice is YOURS! myview4:13pm Mon 9 Feb
The worst ever! Today's programme (26 January)was really dreadful. James Branxom told his Red Team contestants a piece of Indonesian crap was an early 19th century treen bowl which deservedly flopped in auction. Likewise a "window seat" of the same origin, and he praised a terrestrial globe cocktail cabinet made of finest NDF which fetched a whole £1.00! Philip Serrell's choices were equally nonsensical - a body massager (c1999), a dented spirit kettle on mismatched stand lacking a burner and thirdly, a boring washbowl. His team lost £192 in short time and the Blues did little better.
Experts, my aunt fanny. They both looked bored stiff and were obviously extracting the michael from their deluded victims. This is theatre of cruelty, not a bargain hunt. I have seen better quality in jumble sales than in the antiques markets of Honiton. The poor old auctioneer looked pained, only good manners preventing him telling Wonnecott and his crew to shove it. Dear Tim, I do enjoy your show most of the time but this was unmitigated manure.

back in spain long may bargain hunt continue as it is entertainment that is what tv is all about urmanou11:17am Sat 10 Jan
mis-education this programme is teaching no one anything.i am an antique dealer and this programme gives me a bad name. people think they can buy any old tat and sell it on. experts have NO idea, contestants have zilcho idea and Tim Wannacott is caught between his love for antiques and being a minor celebrity. at least people should be educated about selling on antiques. these days its all about who can make the biggest loss!! you might as well go to a cash 'n' carry, buy cheap tea bags and sell them for a small profit! Tim needs to educate these people and be successful. thinWhiteDuke12:59pm Thu 11 Dec
