To all you haters... American Dad is absolutely not and a million miles away from being "Family Guy Mark II" and it boils my blood when people say that it is. I mean sure, it has its similarities, most notably the animation. But the cast of characters, the jokes, the stories, the whole idea and feel of the show is completely different to Family Guy, which is based pretty much solely on annecdotes.
